Two fortresses face each other across a gloomy field, and only one will still be standing at the end. In this turn-based siege built on real physics, heroes crouch behind the walls and take turns launching attacks. Knock away a supporting block and a tower can come crashing down, while a powder keg can set off a chain of blasts.
Defeat every enemy hero, or damage their castle until its integrity falls under 25%. Wood catches fire, stone stays firm, iron barely cracks and kegs explode, and the wind shifts every turn.
Desktop: pull back with the mouse and let go to shoot, slingshot style, and roll the wheel to zoom. Left and right arrows set the angle, up and down set the power, and Shift makes them faster. Fire with Space or Enter, pick a hero with 1 to 4 or Tab, pause with Esc. Mobile: drag back and release, and tap a hero or their card to choose the shooter. Play in landscape.
Eight heroes bring their own weapon and ability, among them the Knight, Bomber, Archer, Alchemist, Crossbowman, Black Priest, Siege Giant and Bannerman. Design a stronghold on a budget in the Castle Editor, then collect Road of Glory trophies, which open up new heroes, materials and four arenas. The AI grows smarter in each arena, or share one device with a friend in Two Players mode.
Watch the wind gauge. Blast out the blocks beneath enemy heroes so they fall and get hurt. Alchemist fire spreads through wood, and the Black Priest can revive one fallen ally per battle.
Since heroes attack each other, this siege suits older kids and teens who enjoy cartoon-style strategy best.
