Happy Snakes is a colourful take on the classic snake game. You start as a short snake in a big arena full of glowing orbs and other snakes. Eat the orbs to grow longer, keep out of everyone else's way, and try to become the biggest snake on the board. The game's own motto sums it up: eat others, grow happy.

How to play

Guide your snake towards the orbs of light scattered around the arena. Every orb makes you a little longer. The one rule that matters: if your head hits another snake's body, your run is over. That works in both directions, so if another snake crashes into you, it is gone and its body turns into a trail of orbs for you to collect.

Power-ups help along the way:

• Shields protect you from a crash for a short time.
• Magnets pull nearby orbs towards you so you grow faster.

Controls

• Steer: move the mouse, or drag on a touchscreen

Tips

• Stay near the edges while you are small. The middle of the arena is where big snakes hunt.
• Cut in front of a larger snake's head only when you are sure you are ahead. A failed trap ends your game.
• Save a shield for crowded areas where orbs from a crash are piled up.
