About Microsoft Sudoku
Microsoft Sudoku is the classic number puzzle. Use simple logic to fill the grid's nine rows and nine columns with the numbers 1 to 9. Each number can only appear once in any row or column.
How to play
There are two modes: Pen and Pencil. To enter a final answer, click the pen button, select a square and drag the cursor up and down to choose a number, or simply type it in. If you are not sure, select the pencil button and pencil in several possible guesses for a square. Need help? The hint button in the main menu highlights possible answers in red, and the progress button shows whether you have made any mistakes. Fill every square correctly to win.

- Look for rows or columns with only one or two empty squares.
- Use pencil marks to keep track of options.
