Have you ever wondered how two paints turn into a third? Nijimi: Color Match answers that question with a brush, a sheet of washi paper and a glazed tea bowl. Your job is to blend real-feeling paint until one patch on the paper shows the very same shade as the bowl, all under a quiet moonlit sky.
Pick a paint dish to fill your brush, then sweep it across the paper. Rub one color into another and a brand new tone appears where they meet. Dip into the water bowl to clean the brush, which lets you soften and mix without adding more pigment. The game judges the spot you mixed most accurately. Hit 85% to clear the level, or push all the way to 96% to win three seals.
Desktop: click a dish and drag the mouse to paint. Keys 1 to 5 choose the dishes, 0 picks the water, and Q, W and E change the brush size. Ctrl+Z undoes a stroke, H shows a hint, Enter finishes and M toggles sound.
Mobile: tap a dish and drag your finger over the paper. Hold your device sideways.
There are 20 levels to work through, an endless mode for extra practice, and the game speaks 9 languages.
It feels like an art lesson that never rushes you. Kids get a gentle feel for how colors behave, and grown ups will enjoy the soothing pace just as much.
