About Shadows Game

Shadows Game is a simple and playful puzzle for young children. A dark shadow appears on the screen, and the challenge is to work out which picture it belongs to.

How to play

Look closely at the shape of the shadow. Then look at the objects shown and choose the one that matches it exactly. Get it right and you move on to a new shadow. It is a fun way to practise shape recognition, attention to detail and visual thinking, and it works on phones, tablets and computers.

Tips for parents

• Ask your child to describe the shape before picking: is it round, tall or spiky?
• Play together and take turns to make it a guessing game.
